Production Coordinator

Full-Time Position

Stephen Thomas Ltd (ST) is a full-service marketing and fundraising agency dedicated to helping our non-profit clients make more money. Right now, we are seeking a Production Coordinator – someone who exhibits personality, proactivity, positivity, energy and attention to detail.

Working at ST you will receive above market benefits and a starting salary of $45,000 – $50,000 with room for growth.

Working exclusively with Canadian and international non-profit organizations, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of Direct Mail production services for our account teams on behalf of our clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with the Production Manager to complete assigned client projects accurately, on time and on budget
  • Provide the Manager with daily status updates for each project and ensure adherence to the project critical path
  • Assist the Manager with the preparation of production quotes
  • Assist the Manager with the creation of purchase orders
  • Create production work-back schedules for client projects that align with the account team’s overall critical path
  • Assist the Manager in proof reading documents (art, data reports, laser and letter shop proofs)
  • Help the Manager ensure that required postage for projects is sent to suppliers on time
  • Assist the Manager to coordinate delivery of stock and laser proofs
  • When projects are complete, assist the Manager to prepare job drop summary reports, inventory reports and invoices for account teams
  • Assist the Manager in obtaining job samples for the account teams
  • Help the Manager provide project status updates to account teams
  • Maintain positive, productive working relationships with company staff to meet company standards

Education & Experience

  • Knowledge of basic print production an asset

  • Organizational skills: handle multiple priorities, manage tight deadlines and thrive under pressure
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Adobe software
  • Ability to work independently and on team

  • Keen interest in the volunteer sector
